I am a journalism graduate student at American University’s School of Communication. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in 2013 from UC Santa Barbara majoring in Political Science with an emphasis on comparative politics. I’ve held high leadership positions within local Armenian community organizations such as Homenetmen and the Armenian Youth Federation. I worked in public administration for several years at the City of Glendale before deciding to change careers. In 2019, I worked on a Los Angeles City Council election campaign as a campaign coordinator for Stella Maloyan. From January to August 2020, I participated in an internship program in Yerevan, Armenia and worked for the local digital news publication Civilnet.
